Intrastate Moving Information When we do a move that is 56 miles, or more, from our facility, it's considered an intrastate move. Intrastate move costs are based on the mileage traveled for the move, the weight of the shipment and any other services needed to complete the move. We are regulated by the Washington Utilities Transportation Commission, and we follow the minimum and maximum cost they have set forth for moves.
